Success in high school starts with showing up. At Ingleside High School, we encourage every student to be present, on time, and ready to learn each day. Regular attendance helps students stay engaged in their classes, build strong relationships with teachers, and remain on track for graduation.
Did you know? Under Texas law, students must attend at least 90% of the days a course is offered in order to receive credit for that class. Even if a student is passing academically, excessive absences could result in a loss of course credit.
We ask our families to partner with us by making attendance a priority, scheduling appointments outside of school hours whenever possible, and communicating with the school when absences are unavoidable.
Every day matters. Every class matters. Together, we can help every student succeed!
